We know many of you are travelling long distances to be with us, so we want to make sure you have a great weekend. For free time, here's a map of our
favorite restaurants - starred places are top notch and highly recommended, green are good if you order certain things. There's also
Pike's Market which is always a great time. Come hungry. If you're going to the
Space Needle note that tickets have a time slot assigned and it might be a significant wait if you don't get there early.
The Chihuly Garden and Glass is nearby and a very worthwhile glass art museum. Coffee fans would enjoy
Starbuck's Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room where you can sample coffee flights. The
Museum of Flight has a huge air and space collection that's in Boeing's headquarters.
Woodinville Wine Country sports some of the best tasting rooms in Washington (and dare we say, the world). Weather should be hot and dry in late August. Please note that Seattle traffic is generally quite horrific. Always plan plenty of extra time to get around town, especially during rush hour.

Duck tour! For those who reserved a spot we'll spend an hour seeing the city by land and sea (hopefully not by air). Meetup at the Westlake center duck launch (there's two in town, be sure to do the downtown one) for a 10am departure.

The Octopus Bar. It's about half way between where people are staying in downtown Seattle or in the recommended hotels in Bothell. Dutch Treat. Come enjoy some rum based island-style cocktails (Stephanie doesn't like to call them 'tiki') and locals beers in a pirate ship.
